I went shopping in my closet to find a grownup outfit for a nice evening out (vs my go-to jeans, sweater, scarf, sneakers ensemble). Here’s what I came up with: Wide leg pants, wrap top and heels. What do you think?
It has been so cold and I'm having to make a real effort not to wear a giant puffy coat every day! A bomber jacket is nice alternative, in my opinion. They come in so many styles and flavors, like this floral version which is surprisingly warm!
A little Monday motivation and throwback to my days as a graduate student (back when I was wondering what kind of career opportunities would actually arise from studying transcendentalism...). Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined. –Henry David Thoreau
Amicale Cashmere is having a sample sale November 28-30 in NYC! Pick up designer cashmere pieces from $25. I'm sporting my cashmere Coach scarf from last year's sample sale and it's so, so warm! #sponsored

Truth be told, I am a little sad that colder days are ahead. But I do love the jewel tones of fall. This sweater is a rental from Le Tote that I thought I’d try — I wasn’t initially sold on the cutout (like do I wear this when it’s cold outside or not?).
